Spanish symphonic metal outfit Diabulus In Musica are just a few days from releasing their fifth album, Euphonic Entropy. In anticipation, the band has released another single: ‘One Step Higher’.

Quite interesting but there’s a lot of layered main vocal content but that’s nothing new really I don’t think they have the power like exlibris do but they are a phenomenal band I think

I think the operatic vocals here are among my favourite. They’re full and strong, as opposed to the flowy soprano that so many Nightwish-knockoffs try! But I agree, the layering is nothing new.
